Ingrid Kallenbäck debuted in 1983 with the poem collection “Ljusverkan”.
Kallenbäck’s poetry has always shaped existential experiences and sensations. She builds a lyrical soul landscape of expressionistic images and symbols and in this way manages a modernist legacy. The reviewer has pointed to her family relationship with poets such as Erik Lindegren, Ruth Hillarp and Tomas Tranströmer. Her new poetry collection Stunden öppnar sig (2005) can be read as lyrical stories, as short monodramas for separate voices.
