Roman Povzyk (born in 1990 in Poltava) – a poet, publicist, member of an independent art association „Magnum Opus“. He graduated from Poltava National Technical University (2012). He lives in Poltava.
As a poet he was a participant of the residence „Stanislavsky Phenomenon“ (2014) in Ivano-Frankivsk and a finalist in the contest „Young Republic of Poets“ within the Lviv Publishers‘ Forum (2014). As a publicist he is a finalist of the competition of artistic reportage named after Mike Johansen ′′Samovidecʹ“ (2017).
Roman is a co-author of the collections „Euromaidan: The Chronicles in Short Stories“ (2014), „Stanislavsky Phenomenon“ (2015), „Forest Boys. Prose About the UPA” (2016), “Veni, vidi, scripsi: Why I Will Never Leave This Place” (2017), “Ordinary Unusual Priests” (2017), “Ripley” (2018).
