poetess, Doctor of Philology, historian
Brigitte Oleschinski, a Doctor of Philology, a Berlin free writer, was born in Cologne in 1955. She studied political science and history, particularly the problems of political repressions in totalitarian regime countries. Since 1980 she writes poems and essays on theory of poetry, receives grants to study abroad, participates in the international festivals and conferences, habilitates as a docent, gives poetic performances, works in internet projects.

From 2003 to 2005 together with Indonesian artists she created a poetic performance “Laut Lesung”, which took place in different cities of Germany, Indonesia and Mexico.
