Andreas Saurer, a poet, a historian, a journalist and a translator, was born on the 22d of September 1963 in Andeer,(Graubunden/ Switzerland). Today he lives in Bern and Basel.
He studied modern history , Swiss history and modern German literature in Bern, Berlin and Siena.
Since 1995 he works as an editor in Berner Zeitung BZ.
The author of „Modernisierung und Tradition: Das rumänische Dorf 1918-1989“ research, Gardez publishing house, Saint- Augustine 2003.
