A writer, a journalist.
Liubov Iakymhuk was born on November, 19 in 1985 in Pervomays’k (Lugans’k oblast’). She graduated from a magisterium in National University of “Kyiv – Mohyla Academy” where she studied theory and history of literature and comparative literature science. She also received a scholarship from the Minister of culture and national heritage of Poland “Gaude Polonia” (in “Literature” category, 2010).
Ms. Iakymchuk is the author of a collection pf poetry “, yar MODA” (Lviv, 2009), which brought her the Bohdan-Ihor Antonych Award and the Vasyl Symonenko Award. She is a winner of “Mizhnarodna poetychna slovyans’ka premiya” (1st prize, 2013). Her play “Aerobika dlya oblychchya” won a diploma in “Koronatsiya slova” contest in “Plays” category.
Liubov Iakymchuk took part in creating many poetry, prose and drama anthologies. Her works have been translated into English, Polish, French and Hebrew.
Her poems inspired and formed an international freejazz project “Aphrodite”.

Liubov Iakymchuk is the organizator of “Rik Semenka” (a series of literary events); literary and art event “100 rokiv futurysmu. Remont Shevchenka” (2014), etc.
She translated Efrat Mishori’s poetry for “I pokolinnya pryhodyt’” (an Isralian poetry anthologie, published in 2012).
